Creative Flow & Life Workshop

Description:

In this six-week program, we explore the connection between Creativity and Life through art.

We explore the energy of creative flow through painting techniques to create a large-scale abstract painting. Through meditation, breathwork, movement, and art, we’ll introduce
‘tools’ that will help reduce stress and anxiety, move through resistance to create and ultimately connect you to your own creative flow. We will explore how moving through this process can help you move through other circumstances in your day-to-day life.

Never painted before? No worries. We’ll guide you each step of the way. No previous art experience or knowledge is necessary, all are welcome.

We feel that Art is Life. The creative process offers many metaphors to life. Any artist approaching a blank page is a brave step. We never really know how it’s going to turn out. We have an idea of what we want but as we begin to create, we start to see new things emerge, which helps guide our artwork.

As artists, we can engage in each mark we make, see the art as it appears, and learn to trust in this process.

Rather than focusing on the end result, we discover the gifts within the process itself – courage and beauty found within the creative process.
